Why 22 Exchanges?

  • More venues = more price discrepancies - inefficiencies compound across fragmented liquidity
  • DEX/CEX spreads often wider than CEX/CEX due to different market structures
  • Long-tail pairs on smaller exchanges = larger inefficiencies and less competition
  • LBank alone adds 1,475 pairs most systems ignore - untapped alpha

FAQ

Delta Neutral Trading FAQ

Common questions about basis trading and funding rate capture

What does delta-neutral basis trading aim to do?

It offsets directional exposures, for example with spot and an opposing perpetual position, to study basis and funding opportunities. Neutrality is an exposure target, not a guarantee of profit: hedge mismatch, costs, collateral movements and price gaps can still produce losses.

How are funding payments earned or paid?

With positive funding, perpetual longs generally pay shorts; with negative funding, the direction reverses. Eligibility depends on holding the position at the venue's funding time. Rates and intervals can change, and funding receipts must be assessed alongside trading costs and hedge losses.

Do the Stats results prove returns for this strategy?

Only a record for the same strategy and account can support that comparison. Mixed-portfolio results, displayed funding APRs and testnet execution do not establish standalone basis-trading returns. Request the relevant period, costs and cash-flow treatment before comparing results.

Which risks remain after hedging?

Funding reversals, basis widening, liquidation, execution delays, borrow costs where applicable, and exchange or withdrawal failures remain. Margin is local to each venue; a profitable leg elsewhere may not prevent liquidation on the losing venue.
