How to Be a Successful LP

This is a partnership. Here's how to make it work:

If you don't understand something, ask.

This is your capital, your account. You're not expected to know everything — but clarity is non-negotiable.

You control your account. It needs to be correct.

Double-check balances, wallet setups and access permissions. If something's off, it affects execution — and your returns.

You control the flow of money in and out.

Add or withdraw capital in a measured way. Sudden shifts in balance can disrupt the system's sizing logic.

We size according to your account.

Risk exposure is dynamically adjusted to your wallet size. If you move funds mid-cycle, the strategy won't adapt in real time — it may over- or under-expose you.

Don't make radical changes without communication.

This isn't passive ETF investing. Unexpected changes on your end can skew performance and risk models.

This game is at least 50% mental.

Markets are noisy, irrational and punishing. There will be moments of doubt. Your edge is in staying composed — and understanding that drawdowns are part of the game.

Standard setups protect you.

Custom configurations — advanced broker settings, exotic margin modes or inserted intermediaries — often introduce fragility. If the system breaks, it's usually not the market — it's the setup. Stick to what's battle-tested.

More control equals more responsibility.

If you want to be hands-on — choosing the broker, tweaking the configuration, managing sub-accounts — then you inherit execution risk. That means if something goes wrong, it's not always the trader's fault. With discretion comes consequence.

Trust only works when structure is solid.

This isn't about blind faith — it's about aligned systems. If the foundation (hedge mode, margin config, sizing logic) isn't right, even a great strategy will fail. Trust is built when structure allows performance to play out.

There is no bailout button.

If you're looking to "make back" a previous loss by throwing in a small amount of capital — stop. Trading doesn't work on emotional repayment logic. It works on sound setup, patient structure and disciplined execution.

The Bottom Line

Success in this partnership comes down to clear communication, disciplined capital management and mental resilience. We handle the technical execution — you handle the strategic oversight of your capital. Together, we navigate the markets with precision and composure.

FAQ

LP Guidelines FAQ

Common questions for liquidity providers and capital allocators

What should I confirm before allocating?

Confirm the access route, minimum capital, permitted strategy, custody arrangements, reporting and risk limits in your agreement. The published DirectAPI minimum is $50,000; platform routes differ. These guidelines do not impose a universal lock-up or investor classification.

Which fees apply?

Use the written terms for your route. DirectAPI pricing is described as performance-based, and the Options page states profit share rather than a management fee on idle capital. Platform fees and custom arrangements can differ; do not infer an additional management fee from these guidelines.

Can I deposit or withdraw without notifying the operator?

Coordinate material capital changes first. They can alter sizing, available margin, high-water-mark accounting and pending exits. Your control of the account does not make a mid-cycle withdrawal operationally neutral.

What reporting should I expect?

Confirm the reporting scope and cadence in your agreement, including account access, performance calculation and treatment of cash flows. Public Stats links are useful references, but this page does not promise universal monthly packs, quarterly reviews or tax statements.
